Located on the south side of Roehampton Lane, the site falls within the Roehampton Village Conservation Area where the existing built environment has a varied mix of building types including, two-storey terraced housing, large detached villas, a commercial high street and prominent community buildings and churches, between which the development site is situated.
Our proposal responds to the surrounding context and takes reference to the predominant design features within the Conservation Area, including stock brick and timber weatherboarding, articulation of windows and apertures, and the creation of a strong sense of enclosure along Roehampton Lane.
The scheme includes sixteen car parking spaces and a landscaped podium deck for residents’ use, to the rear of the site. Family units are located at first floor level overlooking the communal garden.
