Rising above a railway line at Elephant and Castle.

This scheme comprises a mixed use tower located adjacent to a railway viaduct in Elephant and Castle. It provides thirty bnew homes over thirteen storeys with the existing ground floor and basement restaurant usage retained.

The proposed aesthetic features a modern brick design with high quality brickwork in varying shades of grey with deep window reveals and narrow shadow gaps.
The use of glazed winter gardens provides contrast to the heavy texturised brickwork.

At the top of the building the mass is reduced to create a semi enclosed double height private amenity space that emphasizes the verticality by introducing double height columns. The contrast of semi enclosed/transparent space balances the overall mass of the building.
