Over 50's housing

The development provides seventy eight flats and houses with twenty two designated for the over 50’s, with basement car parking on the site of former swimming baths in Eltham.

At ground floor level within the heart of the scheme, are facilities for the over 50’s, including a garden room, intended to be a flexible area serving a variety of needs during the year. Balconies provide each flat with private amenity space with a communal garden and children’s play area to the rear of the site.

The building ranges from two to six storeys, it’s highest point being the corner element on Eltham Road and Sherard Road, stepping down to two storeys adjoining the residential properties on Carnecke Gardens. Clad in brick and zinc, recessed, off-set, full height windows and opaque glass balconies provide varying planes and depth to the elevation.
