164 residential appartments with workshop spaces
The proposed scheme comprises a mix of retail, workshops, live work and residential apartments. These are accommodated in 6 buildings of which one will be retained and converted existing warehouse. The scheme includes also a small infill to complete the period terrace.
The scheme achieves up to 80% dual aspect units and no north facing single aspect units. The majority of apartments have the use of outside space in the form of gardens, balconies or terraces, in addition there is a generous landscaped communal area.
The development at Camberwell Road is a fine example of contemporary architecture; successfully combining glass and brick to create buildings that both stand-out in their design but also complement the existing architectural fabric of the area.
