30 residential units with ground floor restaurant

The site is located in between the River Thames and Woolwich Dockyard Station

immediately to the south of a grade 2 listed octagonal chimney that formerly served a steam factory plant constructed as part of Woolwich Dockyard.

The site sits at a prominent corner site forming a tip of a narrow urban block bounded by roads on three sides. The existing building was originally constructed as a pub but has most recently been a Carribean restaurant.

Alan Camp Architects have submitted a planning application to replace the existing building with a new build part 10 and part13 storey tower to terminate the urban block.

The accommodation comprises a commercial unit at ground floor and 40 new dwellings above, each of which has private amenity space. Associated car parking, cycle storage, refuse/ recycling facilities are also located at ground floor level.
