Construction completed on 20 storey tower scheme

Work has just finished on this distinctive 20-storey housing development in Plumstead, south-east London. The £16 million scheme has been designed for LHA-ASRA and features a 3 and 7 storey podium block with a 13-storey tower.

The development, which commands outstanding views over London, will provide 119 new homes for social rent and shared ownership tenure. All homes will have their own private amenity space in addition to a landscaped courtyard at upper ground floor level and communal roof terraces on three floors.

The scheme has been constructed by Galliford Try and also incorporates a full range of sustainable and energy-saving measures which have enabled the development to achieve a rating of Very Good on the EcoHomes scale.
