Mayor of London visits Elysee development
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson visited the Alan Camp Architects’ designed Elysee development in Tooting recently. Along with Sir Bob Kerslake, CE of the Homes and Communities Agency and David Montague, CE of London and Quadrant Housing Trust, the Mayor was promoting the launch of a new scheme which will deliver more affordable homes in London.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be here today, at this superb development, hailing the achievement of L&Q and the HCA. It is absolutely vital that we do everything in our power to keep the housing market going and help people in any way we can” the Mayor commented.
The £9 million Elysee scheme on the site of a former garage comprises seventy one shared ownership flats arranged around a central courtyard.
