Three developments of family homes for Riversmead Housing Association (part of Network Housing Group) have received planning approval in the last couple of months. Woodlands Road, Cundalls Road and Cromwell Road in Hertford, provide a combination of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses for affordable rent. The design used across all three schemes is for a standard house type with a generic floor plan intended to be flexible for use on different types of site.
The homes will achieve Sustainable Homes Code Level 3 through the use of super-insulated walls, high-specification windows and heat recovery heat pumps. Contractor Bugler Developments will begin construction in February.
A further two schemes of 3 bedroom houses and 2 bedroom bungalows at Thieves Lane and Windsor Drive were submitted for planning this month.
