Go-ahead for Hexagon HA affordable homes scheme in Lewisham
Planning approval has been given for Hexagon Housing Association to build fifteen new homes for affordable rent in George Lane, Lewisham.
The £2.75 million development will be made up of two, three and four bedroom houses. Two of the properties will be fully wheelchair-accessible.
The new homes will be arranged in three terraces, set around a forecourt. Roof-mounted solar thermal panels will help reduce the homes’ carbon dioxide emissions by almost 25 per cent.
Hilife Construction Co Ltd will shortly start work on the new housing which will take a year to complete.
